Very cute place. Avocado toast is mainly bread, hardly any avocado on it. For $7 its just piece bread with couple of chunks of tomatoes. The pictures they had on Google maps with cute mugs is misleading cuz they gave us to go cups for dining in. We asked for it however they said they only have a couple of 12oz cups in the entire store. Not impressed. I thought more highly of it based on pictures and reviews.

Good breakfast spot.
The quiche was certainly the winner in the 3 breakfasts we tried. 5 star item
The biscuits and gravy garnered a 3 with its lukewarm temperature.
The burrito we tried was a 3.5. Decent but nothing amazing.
I was impressed by the cupcake. It's got a healthy amount of icing, but it's not overly sweet.

I truly can’t say enough about the service I receive at McLain’s today. I had the pleasure of being served by Eddie and he made me really feel welcome. He took time to talk about drinks, pastries, and travel with me, all while expediting service.
I will be back! Highly recommend this KC original. Thank you!!!

My sandwich with the Cibata bread was so good and the fries were not to salty. It was a beautiful day and was able to sit outside. Our food was also brought outside to us.

Great bakery. Stopped for breakfast, could have bought one of everything! Apple coffee cake was out of this world. Nice indoor and outdoor seating. Highly recommended!

I stopped by to get coffee and a quick breakfast. I ordered an oat milk cappuccino and a veggie breakfast burrito. It was ready in no time.
The breakfast burrito tasted delicious and felt like the quality of ingredients was great. I also liked that they didn't cut the burrito in half like they would typically do that other places. Sometimes it makes it difficult to eat as all the contents fall out.
My coffee was very good as well. I would definitely come back when I'm in the area again.

Went this morning to get the The Farm breakfast sandwich and a sticky bun. Unfortunately there was a mix up with my order which caused a delay. They were quick to correct the mix up and even included some extra treats for the delay. This was my 2nd visit and all of my food has been delicious. The Farm is incredible with a buttery, flaky croissant and the sticky bun was awesome. I appreciate great service and I will be back.

Nice local bakery shop- overpriced and some items are not worth the money - avocado toast and lox sandwiches are basically one small toast.
