Stopped in to pick up the chocolate meringue I ordered online. After getting a picture perfect Chocolate meringue, a small coconut meringue, 4 cookies and a dog treat later... I left, reluctantly! Always amazing product, so, so delicious!!!

In KC for the weekend and decided to stop by for some pie! We got a peach cutie pie. We ate it warm with some ice cream. It was so good we got a 2nd pie to take home! Very cute store and friendly staff.

We were so glad we gave this bake shop a try. We tried the blueberry pie, it was baked perfectly. Perfect crust with a nice, even filling. Everyone loved it. We placed an order a week out and they called us the day it was ready.

They aren't always open which has prevented me from trying them until now. I regret waiting so long. Plan a trip if you have to and get to this pie shop immediately. More flavors than you can imagine plus cookies that are out of a dream world. Whole pies, by the slice and minis. Fruit and cream pies, everything is spectacular. The crust on the fruit pies is buttery heaven. Eat a slice now and take a whole one to go.

I saw the German chocolate pie on the food channel and was very excited to try one the next time I came to Kansas city. I called the day before to order it and paid the 30.00 price tag. The only thing that made it halfway exciting was warming it in the microwave and adding vanilla ice cream. It was like eating a brownie with coconut and nuts in a thin, flavorless pie crust. I don't understand the big deal....it was expensive and everyone was underwhelmed.

Upper crust is a charming little bakery, love the place and decorations and the pies are delicious, as I'm allergic to cinnamon it was refreshing and suprising that they made apple pies without cinnamon and it was delicious and the crust was just perfect. Definitely recommended!

German Chocolate cutie pie was delicious, perfectly flaky and not overwhelmingly sweet (typical of authentic German style pastries) Comfy atmosphere and friendly staff.
Also, the drip coffee was actually really good. Usually when I've served my own coffee at other places they treat it as an afterthought and it is usually burnt or left out for a long time.
