Johnny's Tavern

The staff wasn't warm nor inviting..... Will not eat here as a casual dinner myself. Then again could be that they tired that it was so close to the end of the night. When trying to pick up food I was just told to go over there by the bar there was no other directions given nor was there any"to go/ delevery" signage.

This tavern is a 5 star establishment! The staff is friendly, attentive, and helpful. They have a clean resturaint. Great for parties, work gatherings, or just a place to hang out. I eat here at least once a month sometimes twice a month depending on my stay. The food is excellent from the pizza to the burgers. The appatizers are amazing too along with the tacos! They have daily specials as well! I could go on for days about thos location, but you should jist go check it out for yourself. Also one of the owners is a Veteran of The United States Marine Corps. The wife and I have gone to a few johnnys. This is the 3rd time we’ve been to this location (shawnee one is the best). The service was pretty good. The food, average, which I thought was strange cause every other time we have been to Johnny’s, the food has always been enjoyable. Maybe the cook had a rough day, who knows. We will still give johnnys business in the future, just not this one.

The place was quite full with large groups of parties. We were there with 11 people. Service was great, the gal was constantly available between two groups. The food was good. The teriyaki shrimp and pizzas were delicious. The drink list was plentiful. I definitely will come back to try more from the menu.

I work part time at a fast food near here, Saturday nite got off work and looked on Yelp to see who was open, I need a Draft Beer, this place was open, so I came and check it out, the staff was great, listening to the regulars, this was place to come and enjoy yourself more than once,plus they visit other locations too, Free state brewery makes their own beer, most good bars has a special beer for just them,I ask dog friendly and was told Yes,Wednesday nite, Lady, she will be 17 in September and I came for Happy hour and lady luvs chix, maybe that’s why she living so long, right now the patio isn’t being use that much but for smoking, Lady, is just walking up and down and enjoying it, my server Joel, is awesome dude and a must to have him serve, the food is good,staff likes friendly dogs only here, they also have rewards program too
