Boston Market

Normally I am very happy with the food here. Tonight, out of 3 items ordered, they were out of 2! I had white meat chicken instead of dark (not as good, definitely more dry) and my friend had meatloaf instead of prime rib. The other person ordered a salad and had to wait quite a while to receive it, while my friend and I started eating right away. I was not impressed, but will give them another try as I usually enjoy it much more.

Most of the food is great, especially their veggies and chicken pieces, but other items are getting too much like food-service, low-quality items. The turkey and meatloaf are heavily processed and look like it. I would also prefer to have honey and butter packets available for the cornbread. It is pretty good cornbread, but cornbread always needs something on it. Free drink refills are nice. Spinach is great, mixed veggies are great, all the veggies are cooked well and taste well. Drink selection is good. Staff are helpful and friendly, but someone should discretely and lovingly tell the young transgender man at this location to not scratch or feel himself at the counter. No one wants to get in trouble for doing that accidentally or also for saying something about it and getting called a bigot, but it's just not polite for employees to scratch in public, regardless of their gender.

My husband always orders the meatloaf. Tonight as on at least 3 other occasions they are out of meatloaf or it will be 20-30 minutes before it’s available. This seems to be poor planning or poor management. We love the food but are very frustrated that they are so often out of the favored meal. So after waiting 25 minutes, we were told it would be 20, we inquired about the meatloaf. We were then told it would be 10-15 more minutes. When I questioned why we were told 20 the response was, oh that's just what we always say. We always just say 20 minutes. So we left and I do not plan to be back. Horrible customer service!

Boston market has the best fast food available. I only call it fast food because you get it fast. The food is healthy - way better than a burger and fries. The portions are generous. This particular location has a nice facility, helpful, efficient staff and well prepared food. We normally get the quarter chicken white with two sides. I usually get sweet potato casserole and creamed spinach for sides. My kids usually get cooked apples, mashed potatoes and gravy for sides. There are many other good sides from which to choose. Do yourself a favor and head to Boston Market next time you are looking for fast food.

I arrived at the drive through around 645 on a week night. There were two cars ahead of me so not very busy. I waited between 5 to 10 minutes at the speaker for someone to take my order. I said hello a couple of times and got a reply to telling me they would be with me in a few minutes. This went on for awhile. Myself and the guy behind me were about to back out when someone finally asked what I wanted to eat. I placed my order waited another 10 minutes only to have a bag literally shoved at me with no thank you or apology for the wait. Very poor service. I had a similar experience at this restaurant only there was no one in line in front of me but I still waited about 10 minutes before I gave up and drove off. No one ever took my order and I was told repeatedly to wait.

I had not been to Boston Market in a long time and was looking forward to some delicious sides! But I was disappointed to find out they had discontinued the apples! They were out of some other sides as well. The staff were more concerned with each other than the customers and were not listening. The food I got was decent but a disappointing experience overall.
