Absolutely fantastic. I go here often ever since I discovered it. Everything is always fresh and the taste is straight from Pakistan. No doubt about it. I highly recommend the halwa puri breakfast special on Sundays. The puri is surprisingly light and not extremely oily, compared to what you'd expect. Their chargah (roasted chicken) is another gem on the menu. I'm also a huge fan of their beef seekh kababs.

We have been driving all the way from KC downtown to this place. Its a long drive but we find it worth the drive. Achari chicken, Karahi chicken, aloo paratha, beef & chicken seekh kabab are what we've been eating regularly almost every day. While some of the recent reviews do not seem to favor the place, I have found the place pleasantly surprising with quality and fresh food. We love the spices in all the food we get from here. The only reason I gave 4 is because the service can be slow at times but we've learned to get around it by calling before we start driving.

Ordered chicken charga, hummus and naan. The chicken charga was fine, the fries that came with it was for sure the frozen ones that was reheared, it had no seasoning at all. Also the most disappointment was the hummus was not restaurant made, it was the Kirkland brand's cold hummus, they just put it in a small container. I had better experience with this restaurant before but they have to make sure the quality is maintained.

We found this place while searching for dinner ideas. I had not tried Pakistani food in the past but the online pics and menu looked delicious. We decided to stop for lunch, which they have a lunch menu that's reasonably priced. I had the chicken biryani and my wife had the kabobs. Both were very good and full of flavor. The serving sizes were larger than expected and allowed us to take home leftovers for later. We also tried the hummus and naan, both also good. In all, we expect to return.

One of my favorite places in KC. They serve indian food with a pakistani touch. The breakfasts (puri and potato curry on side) on weekends are a chore for me. The fries were flavorful, crispy and with a hint of spice. Must try the burger, it was delicious and had a persian touch to it. Delicious chicken broast as well. Dont forget to try the tea if you go here.

Being a pakistani from London, (densely populated with pakistani restaurants)coming to kc (not so populated) I knew one thing I was going to miss was authentic pakistani cooking. Home or restaurant quality. Naturally I was excited to try ManoSalwa since they advertise as authentic pakistani cuisine. I went with the reviews and tried the biryani, Chaplin kebab and naan. All in all disappointing. Biryani definitely wasn't biryani. The meat was seasoned well, it just didn't translate in the rice. Biryani is supposed to have the seasoning in the rice without being dry. Unfortunately this rice was just completely disappointing. And the small pieces of meat on the bone were mostly bone. I'd love to know when the biryani is freshly cooked, because for dinner time it just tasted and felt stale. The chapli kebab could have been so great if they weren't burnt on the outside and also stale tasting (sort of like when you microwave to reheat and it loses its texture and moisture) The seasoning was spicy and ok and the meat was fine. Just not great. The naan had to be the worst out of all. Smelt and tasted just of yeast. Nothing more. The texture was promising but the taste.. we had to throw it away after one bite. I wish I had an experience like most reviewers and I'd give the place another try, just when the food is fresh. I want to support my people but I cant say this was authentic pakistani food.
