The food was amazing, the carnitas raja tacos were particularly tasty, and the sangria slushee was a hit. With Taco Tuesday deal it was great value as well. However, it took 40min to get food for 1 person, and I had to ask for my drink to take away on the way out the door, since I didn’t get it with my food. At least the great view helped ease the wait.

Wonderful location along the river in downtown Owego. Very comfortable seating inside and outside. Scenic dining is offered outback, overlooking the river. The pricing is fair and the fare is filling. The cuisine is more Tex-Mex than Mexican; however, it is tasty. (Spellcheck should have been used on the menus. The correct spelling of the word is: C-H-I-P-O-T-L-E)

Dayumm! Delicious and fresh!!! Had a blast tasting everything. The fresh factor is so priority in this place. Had the Asada Fries. I'm picky about my fries and it was just the right amount of everything. The tostadas were busier than I expected, but presentation was so nice, I enjoyed every bite of it. I even tasted my husband's chicken taco and I don't even like chicken. But, I had to give it back before I ate the whole thing. Will definitely be back. Prices are in line with the quality. Welcoming staff and cleanliness is on point.

We ventured out in the beautiful upstate NY weather (insert sarcasm here) just so we could go use a Christmas gift certificate. And because THIS PLACE IS JUST THAT GOOD. We went in as the last customer was leaving and upon ordering we saw that the young man working the counter was THE ONLY PERSON WORKING. Let me tell you, he ran that entire place like a BOSS👊🏻 Matthew, if you are reading this YOU are yet another reason that we would come back. YOU KILLED IT. The food was fresh and delicious and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. I have had some low vibe experiences in places run by a large staff. And this AWESOME young man made you forget that he was the only one standing. One. Single. Staff. Member. You could see the smile on his face under his mask, his eyes lit up and he was SO very courteous. I had a tostada and carne asada fries, my boyfriend had the nachos (HUGE) and one of each kind of the enchiladas and my son had the cheese quesadilla. Again, THIS WAS AN AMAZING EXPERIENCE. As someone with 25+ years in the customer service industry, THIS IS WHAT I LOOK FOR. I look for the naturals. The ones who TRULY love their job. The ones with the SKILLS to handle any situation and not only work it, but THRIVE in it. MATTHEW 👊🏻👊🏻👊🏻 from one professional to another. And to whomever is lucky enough to employ this gem of a human at Las Chicas Taqueria, I HOPE HE IS PAID AS AWESOMELY AS HIS SKILL SET SHOWS HIM TO BE. Because somebody will snatch him up if you don't lol.

This place is awesome. The decor is tasteful with a lot of bright colors…that get you in the mude to….you know…eat. They took an old building and made it function in a modern day which is always cool. The food is amazing so much attention to detail and everything is 100% fresh, made in house with no cutting corners. Great quality, great taste and a huge amount of choices. You are welcomed at the front with a smile and your order is taken in right away to minimize wait. In addition it is very clean.
