Marathon Grille

Have been a weekly customer here for over a year now. The quality is outstanding - their famous lemon, chicken and rice soup is a must-have every time I go! I believe I get a fair quantity of food for the price paid. Every entree I have tried, popular or unpopular dishes, has been spectacular and freshly made. Each waiter is genuine, sincere, and kind, and if you become a regular, you can be confident that they will remember your name and entire order each time. They make sure you are constantly tended to, remember both the small and big requests, and never, ever give an attitude. This is definitely the best Greek restaurant around. Also, unlike a few other local small restaurants, they do enforce social distancing and have tables spread apart, which gives ease of mind.

We eat here weekly. Everything is delicious. Family run and they make you feel like family (in a good way) They updated their breakfast menu and it is really fantastic. Our favorite meal lunch/dinner is the chicken burger with the special salad. They have weekly specials, which are always good. And although technically a Greek restaurant they have a diverse menu that is not too big. Fair prices and generous portions. Breakfast & lunch a diner feel, but in the evening they turn down the lights and always give great service.

I leave 2 starts just because the food is very tasty. In contrast to other Greek restaurants the food portion here is very small, dishes are not cheap at all. If you’re hungry and think of a good tasty food portion here is definitely not a place to go. Now if you don’t mind ordering for yourself two dishes ( 30$ for the two before drinks ) and eating tasty then go here. It’s a pity that compare to other Greek restaurants you guys serve so so little food. Not going back again :(

It's strange to find a place so out of the way far removed from the mainstream and so good! Obviously the owner knows how to cook the food traditionally very well and she has incorporated it with the some of the diner food that the Americans love but with a little greek twist and that twist is just perfect to make the difference! I had lunch there yesterday and decided since it was my second visit food was so consistently good I went to tarpon springs to explore a little bit with my daughter and then I told the server when I was paying the bill I might be back and I decided yeah I will be back and pick up dinner for the night and eat in which is what I did! Food was for my 9-year-old and myself who I have taught how to eat with the European taste bud not an American one which makes all the difference she loves all the food I cook and when she goes into a restaurant she will comment on how good the food is if it's cooked similar to what I do! Being Croatian I'm close to the flavors of Grease and balcon in general and turkey cuisine because the Turks oppressed the whole Balkan area for hundreds of years unfortunately and brought their primitive ways of life there except for the food which was good! Recommend this restaurant if you're in Clearwater Tampa St Petersburg area or up Tarpon Springs which is nice day trip if you're not!
