Wabi Sabi Japanese Fusion Cafe

I was looking for a sushi place that was not jam packed with people on a Friday night, but also had good ratings for their food. Honestly I was able to sit there for an hour and get excellent service- both the sushi chef and the waitress were soo friendly, and I order another roll after my first one because it was so good. The prices were great, portions also great, and the flavors were excellent too! I liked that they were carefully following Covid protocols and I was able to sit in an area away from other diners. This place seems to be primarily take-out, however I thoroughly enjoyed my dine-in experience 😊. Ps- I always get bagel rolls with avocado wherever I go, but I branched out and tried the “beautiful girl” roll - which was exceptional!

If you come here expecting typical Americanized cuisine drenched in sugary sauces and MSG, you may be disappointed. You may however be surprised you'll be served something actually delicious instead. Expect a lovingly crafted "home-cooked" style meal with sauces made from scratch and nothing from a mix or a bag. Wabi Sabi Cafe seems to have flown under the radar here in Palm Harbor, but for many this place is a wonderfully quiet hidden gem. side note: the food here is far too excellent to be as cheap as it is. Try the nigiri!

Spent a lot of time in Japan. Spent more time trying to find a restaurant that has the passion to serve sushi with the same enthusiasm as I have found overseas. What I can say without a doubt we have found here. The music (big thing for us) is not too loud and accents the experience. The food is amazing. After 3 years of going to Mikes we have found a place that outshines them. We took a chance and we are so glad we did. This is a restaurant you must come to. I promise you will not be disappointed.
