Sprout Cafe

Great place to get variety of sandwiches, salads, sides and soups. Servers are very nice and keep checking to make sure one is comfortable. Indoors is very spacious and artistic. I love their infused water. I got spicy chicken sandwich and a salad, it was delicious. I keep coming back to this place. Prices are reasonable compared to other restaurants at University avenue. Surrounding are nice and vibrant. Plenty street parking available and there are extra open parking and garages available for free on weekends and 2-3 hours parking on weekdays. Update: I have been going to this cafe from a while. It’s at a prime location and car needs to be parked in nearby parking lots. I have tried sandwiches and salads at this place, they are always full of flavors, fresh and delicious. Don’t forget to get the fruit infused water.

Went in person after frequent door deliveries, and while it’s delicious and convenient delivered to my door, it’s even better eating my favorite shrimp summer rolls freshly made. Other favs are the Asian chicken noodle soup, the Davy salad (grilled salmon with arugula perfectly dressed), the truffle tater tots and sweet potato fries. Service was good and the restaurant was very clean with a good vibe. Highly recommend for both delivery and dining at the restaurant.

I had the Shitake spring rolls, Mexican Job sandwich(impossible meatball sub), the Paina Salad and the truffle tots. I would say the spring rolls are good but would be better if served with a peanut sauce. The Mexican Job sandwich was cut down the middle and stuffed so it made it for a skewed bread to meatball ratio. The truffle tots tbh didn't taste like truffle at all but they were cooked well and came with a decent sauce. The Paina salad was good but could've used some more dressing. Overall it was a decent experience.

The atmosphere was nice, but I was very disappointed by the food. Initially I was excited at the large selection of variants I can choose from as toppings, carbs, meats, etc... however, the salad felt blend and subpar. Sweetgreen, in comparison, is priced better, has larger portions and is much tastier in my opinion.
