Village Cheese House

Not at all what I was expecting. I thought it was a cheese focused cafe. But what I found was more of a average Bay Area deli that features a few grilled cheese sandwiches. The inside has odd decor and choice of items to sell. On one side are warn couches that are not conducive for eating. Another wall feature a broken display case. And a larger wall features random convenience store items that were bought at Costco. I had a grilled cheese sandwich that wasn’t bad, but wasn’t great. It came with soup that was obviously store bought. The service was friendly but really slow. It took almost 20 minutes for three people to order ahead of me. Lots of other options in this shopping center. Please try something else instead.

I had an issue with my doordash delivery. I called Village Cheese House and spoke to the owner, Bernard. He was so helpful in resolving my issue and offered that I can order direct. Their food is delicious and I will definitely use the direct order in the future for catered lunches. Thank you for your outstanding customer service and reliably, delicious food.

A friend of mine took me here while visiting the area. The service is great and the food is fresh and delicious. Oddly, when I visited they didn't have any indoor tables, but there are many tables outside. I wanted to take a photo of the food for this review, but I ate it far too quickly. :) You should definitely give this place a try!!
