Printers Cafe (palo Alto)

I love this place. It's open-aired, connected to a funky little art gallery and run by one of the nicest people on earth. The guy who greets everyone and makes the coffee is just perfect for the job. He recommends foods, alters coffee orders to the previously-stated desires of patrons and is always warm and friendly. The coffee is great - almond milk and all the stuff picky people like me like. It's my favorite place in Palo Alto.

I've had a few disappointing experiences here. I want to support local business, but if I don't feel appreciated as a customer, I'm going elsewhere. The last time I had coffee here in the afternoon, mine and three other tables were told we had to move to the other side of the patio because the wine bar was opening. The guy was fairly rude about it, and got into a rather loud disagreement with another customer who was also not pleased about being chased away. Bottom line, there's better coffee, better food, and better service all on the same block. Shop local, but do it somewhere else.
