Ordered the Papaya salad and it was absolutely delicious unlike anything I’ve ever had at any bay area restaurant. Extremely clean flavors that was very refreshing and not overpowering with nice hints of lime and basil. Maybe not quite traditional since the fish sauce was very light but I found it was absolutely delicious. Also ordered a bowl of their signature pho which isn’t quite as delicious since it cooled down during delivery. Pho broth still had quite good flavor and I love they provide all the accoutrements without asking including basil, chilis, sriracha, oyster sauce, limes, etc. Good portion sizes and reasonable prices.

I love this place for a good comfy bowl of Pho! The broth is clean and the meat is quality. Service is great. Always greeted with a smile Indoor and outdoor seating, even throughout Covid.

Had a decent bowl of Pho, I'm not an expert but I think the noodles were the best part.

We ordered through GrubHub but when I got there to pick up, the order hadn't been printed out. In the end I had to wait an additional 30 minutes before the order was ready. Compared to other places, the fresh rolls felt thin and hurriedly made; not the neat, plump rolls we are used to. I think they need to work on their processes and quality.

Solid pho. I ordered pho tai (technically off the menu). Generous quantity of noodles and meat, authentic broth, nice atmosphere with open-window dining, decent prices ($15-17 per pho and $10-11 per banh mi), and easy counter ordering and payment.

I stopped by here for lunch with my dog, Charlie, on a Saturday. There was plenty of outdoor seating and the outdoor seating is situated like most of the restaurant on University Ave. I ordered their shrimp spring roll, grilled chicken banh mi and their walking chicken pho. I tasted the pho broth immediately and initial thoughts was that it's light, a little less flavor than I would like but I still liked it. The shredded chicken pieces are one of the most tender and succulent I've had at any pho restaurants. I normally get dried tasting chicken pieces in other pho restaurants. They also offer a chicken pho for $2 less. The spring rolls was also good and looks like it was made to order. The peanut sauce is on par with other pho restaurants. I only ate half of the grilled banh me sandwich mostly because I was getting full but I still enjoyed it. The baggutte was soft and warm, you get pieces of chicken, cilantro, pickled radish and carrot with every bite. Now the prices. I see a fair number of complaint about the price and how they can get it cheaper and better elsewhere . That's probably the case in most instances but you should have known that going into this restaurant. I knew the prices and still wanted to try it and it was a good meal. It more than what I would typically pay for banh mi and a bowl of pho but I didn't let that hinder my experience. The staff were nice, attentive and brought water immediately. I can't also take Charlie with me to a vast majority of pho restaurants so I really like that aspect of Pho Banh Mi also. Total bill was around $48 with taxes and tips.

Simple lunch place but expensive pho . The service is bad.. when we sat in and the waitress kept on coming to ask are you ready to order. Give me a break and I need to see the menu for my very first visit.. try to order a free running chicken pho and I asked what kind of meat and she said random meat of the chicken. When I asked can I have the drumstick instead but she said random! And I ended with seafood pho that cost $18 a bowl.. pho noodle soup came but the noodle all stick together like have been cooked and left it there for awhile.. I have to slowly break it and not to spill the soup on my shirt! Ordered a coffee but never serve .. asking for a cheque and waited long but told to go counter and pay instead! Bad serve and average and food..
