Shabou Shabou Koukaï

Absolutely fantastic experience. The service was excellent. The food was authentic Japanese. You can also order everything from their sister restaurant, Takura, across the street. The staff bring your dishes discreetly across the way in Japanese looking boxes, which is neat. For Shabu, they have a wagyu option. This is such a great experience and we are glad to have found this in Paris. A lot of the Japanese options around here are not authentic. The sushi rice is mush and there is an overload of salmon everywhere. This restaurant was a welcomed break from that. Don’t forget to try to foie gras sushi!!
