Big Daddy's Famous Bbq

As a sixteen year old who was with a group of friends without adult supervision on a Saturday night in Patchogue Village, this was probably the safest place to be. The live music was wonderful but it was also great to be in the back room so we didn’t feel too overstimulated by it. Plus our waitress, Christine, was super patient with us. And our food was so good!! We were all craving everything we got and they satisfied it. I definitely recommend this place.

This is a nice spot for a good BBQ meal. They have a bar and tons of TVs playing different sports games. We also saw that they bring in live music, so that's always fun. Our wait time for ordering and being served was decent, not too long, so that was another plus! The server was really friendly and helpful. Prices are right on with what you expect for good BBQ, not too pricey (psst...they have lunch specials mon thru Friday) What we ordered: Smoked sausage tray with two sides(i picked collard greans and colesaw) and a cornbread. Pulled Pork Sandwich The meats were cooked perfectly, no complaints at all...you can even smell the BBQ when you walk in! The coleslaw was good, fresh and a nice flavor. The collard greens were very acidic, not that crazy about them. The cornbread was decent, nothing to write home about...a bit on the dry side. Would we come back, sure! There's so much more we are curious about.

Went during lunch, wasn't crowded. Food came quickly and was delicious! Ribs and Chicken were absolutely delicious 🤤 Go for the lunch special from 12-4! You get 3 meaty ribs 2 big chicken wings, a pull pork slider corn bread and 2 sides of your choice. We couldn't finish our meal! We will definitely be returning to eat there again!

Great hidden gem! My husband was craving BBQ and since we were nearby, we decided to stop in. Our server was very friendly and helpful with suggestions. They have a great lunch menu and we opted for the Ultimate Lunch Combo (St. Louis ribs, chicken wings and pulled pork slider with corn bread, a side of cole slaw and mac & cheese) and a BBQ chopped brisket sandwich with a side of homemade sweet potato fries from the regular menu (there was no option to include bbq brisket unfortunately). Great flavors, good balance of smoky, sweet and tangy. Good size portions so we happily took the leftovers home.

If you're craving for good ol' American barbecue, then you can't go wrong in coming here to Bobbique. The St. Louis-style ribs are a must get! BBQ jumbo wings are also great, and the BBQ skewered shrimp will make you want a whole tray of them. Smoked sausage has that perfect snap, though it was a bit saltier for our palate. Pulled pork was excellent. We also got the sliced brisket tray, and it was super tender, melt-in-your-mouth good. The sides were okay accompaniments to the mains. The ambience was also on point for an American styled barbecue place. Apparently, there are sometimes live music featured as there is a stage set, but the day we went no musicians were on scene. Super friendly wait staff as well!! Highly recommended!
