We’ve been here many times and it’s always delicious! Only open for breakfast and lunch, and usually a wait, but so worth it! There is indoor and outdoor seating. You get a true western feel both inside and out. The servers are efficient, polite, and friendly. But the best part is the food! The portions are always generous. I decided to try the famous French toast, and ordered the “small” version - it was more than plenty, and I loved every bite! I’ve never tasted French toast that good. I ordered scrambled eggs in the side. My husband ordered the green Chile pork omelet, and he gave it high praise.

Hubby and I were looking for local restaurants in Peoria and found this place in Yelp with good reviews. I love the ambiance of this old town-cowboy feel cafe. They offer a good selection in their menu. We tried their sandwiches and cobbler and were happy with our choices. Service is a little slow but staff were nice. Highly recommend for those visiting the area.

From outside looking in you'd think little country store. It's got that small town neighborhood feel. I've been driving by for so many years on the way to the lake and never stopped until today. I love to support local owned businesses and was really looking forward to checking out their breakfast options. I was pleased to see a pretty good selection as well as lunch. I tried to come a while back on a weekend and the line was so long we went elsewhere. Today, late morning Tuesday there was plenty of parking and we were seated right away. They offer both inside and outside seating. We chose inside. The hostess asked if we minded sitting at the bar as it looked like they only had one server. Of course there were only two of us so we said sure. After a few moments looking over the menu I chose the make your own omelette that came with toast and country potatoes. My love ordered biscuits and gravy that came with country potatoes and eggs, but also added sausage patties. Everything came out quickly. Portions were quite large. Typically country potatoes are my least favorite of all time and I prefer hash browns these looked so good. They were browned well, crispy and seasoned well. Biscuits were large and fresh and gravy good. My omelette was full of veggies, cooked al dente and perfect amount of cheese. While the omelette looked a bit dry it was delicious and I had no complaints. The sourdough toast was toasted great as well. Service was a bit slow, but as I said it was clear there was only one waitress while we were there. The inside is very small with only about 15 or so tables. Some seat a large family, booths and tables as well. As I said earlier there is also a full bar for those Bloody Mary's and more. All in all a great visit. They also offer a farmers market the First Saturday of every month. Some items sold include fresh fruits and veggies, homemade baked good, Natural Dog Treats, Cakes and Pies. Hours on their website state the time for the market as 7:00am to 1:00 pm.

Taxidermied critters, saddles, draft beer, and good food remind me of many country roadtrip stops and this place has the same feel. Unfortunately, it isn't a little store anymore--somewhere around 2012 they closed that and did their remodeling. They used to sell game meat and bait for fishing at nearby Lake Pleasant too, but they do have a few things on the menu like elk. I was expecting something like Cracker Barrel, but there's some interesting history to read if you walk around and read the clippings on the walls and some bricks came from their family's mercantile store. Nice space for outside dining--not off major noisy road so better than most. We didn't know they are only open until 3 and the servers were already cleaning up and bustling about so there wasn't much time for chatting and asking questions, but at 45 mins until closing we were pleased to be served. We actually came for the fish but they had run out, so my friend had to receive consolation from the chicken fried steak which came with homemade with-skin-on mashed potatoes and tasty coleslaw. I sampled all and they were delicious. Available Guinness certainly also helped console me and the Merc burger was the best 1/2 lb burger I've had anywhere in years! It was deliciously grilled and copious extras like the thick bacon, guac, roasted poblanos, pepper jack cheese, onion, tomato, and lettuce. Even a pickle! Fries were excellent too. Seems breakfast is a big deal there so would like to go back for that, and try again for the fish....

The atmosphere here is really western and nice. This made my family feel really comfortable and made us feel at home. The staff is really nice, friendly, and always check in on you. I had the Greg Merc burger 🍔 and it was really great and the French fries were just great. They had alot of unique options like elk and buffalo burgers. They had plenty of places to sit if it was cool outside you can sit outside and they had a bar area and many booths. Totally will come back again. Also highly recommended for a good American restaurant.

I love Campbell's! My husband and I have a lunch date here once a week. The food is always good! They have huge portions. Going into Campbell's feels like going into a small town restaurant with excellent made from scratch food and the staff are your neighbors. Brandy is my absolute favorite, but they are each wonderful. Great value for money. First responders eat for free, in case that applies to you.

This place is Called Campbell's its 9098 w. Pinnacle Peak rd. More than enough portions at great prices..I usually don't post to much of menu but I had to due to the prices are really good!! My husband and I got build your own omelet with bacon (he got sausage) onions, peppers, chedder cheese, and tomatoes! Delicious delicious!! Everything was awesome right down to sourdough toast! I got a blueberry muffin on side and that was sooooooo yummy! Definitely a 5 star everything down to the home atmosphere!
