Kenny's Westside Pub

It was surprisingly busy for 6 PM on a Sunday night. Inside was full so we ate outside with the flies which was to be expected. It is well cordoned off from passersby on the side walk. It was evident the staff was busy and a bit harried. I ordered portabello mushroom fries and the hubs ordered beer battered fish and chips. At $12+ for the fish and fries, it was disappointing. I thought they would have been breaded and prepared on site. After all, it is advertised as an Irish pub. But the fish looked straight out of a Mrs Gordon's box from the supermarket. The portabello fries were good and not overly greasy. The breading could have been less dense but they had good flavor.

Paid a cover charge to get in to order food, spent more money Waiting almost 2 hours for the food. We ordered it go so when it came it was in paper sacks stapled shut. Got home with it & it was completely wrong order. Called the next day when open took forever to get someone on phone, when I did i was instructed someone would call me monday if not call back tues when manager would be in..Called Tues & was told I couldn't get a refund because it had been two days since purchase..they did redo The food we ordered. Was very poor quality I was basically scared to eat It after the fuss that had been made. Lots of money wasted.
