Coming into this place is quick and friendly. The food is ok. The fried rice had a grits texture, and the sesame chicken was nothing to write home about but not bad. The eggroll was a solid 3/5 as well. Everything was made fresh and quickly. Not a bad place, really cheap too. Would probably come again if i could i would give this place a 3.5

The prices are reasonable, the food is excellent, the decor not so much. It is tucked back in a strip mall on the southwest corner of Knoxville and Pioneer Parkway. I eat there a couple of times a month. It is very sparse inside, they have a few uncomfortable booths and 1 table with chairs. The walls are painted either a strange yellow or an off white that bothers my eyes. My guess is that it is an attempt to make the small space look bigger. That is why my orders are always to go. Asthetics aside, the smell when you walk in the door is absolutely amazing, particularly if they are busy. The young lady that takes your order is very polite and courteous. The kitchen is very efficient. I usually go by on my way home, and even when really busy, the longest I have had to wait for my order was 15 min, it is normally about 5-10. Call ahead for a quick pickup. The food is absolutely wonderful. My go to is the Orange Beef, but I have tried many of the items on the menu and they have all been fantastic! Overall a great place.

A nice Mom and Pop Chinese place. What it lacks in ambiance, it makes up for with very tasty food at a reasonable price. I generally go for carry out on my way home. The longest I've ever had to wait was 15 min and that was because they were very busy. The menu offers most of the standard dishes, and a few house specialties. I really like the Orange Beef and their Orange Chicken I think is better than the chain that specializes in it.

Excellent takeout style Chinese food. They have the best eggrolls in town, and they don't have a peanut flavor (plus for me). They do have a few tables in the restaurant if you want to order and dine in, but most people just get takeout. The have the usual variety of Chinese dishes, and all of them are good. Prices are very reasonable, and they offer lunch specials as well. Staff is friendly and accommodating. Recommend.

Waited 45 minutes when we were told 15-30 minutes & the food was not ideal. We ordered beef and broccoli and there were only a couple pieces of beef, a ton of broccoli, no seasoning, barely any sauce, and the sauce that was in the dish was so runny it didn’t add any flavor. The rice was extremely dried out. Unfortunately, pretty terrible.

I do NOT recommend this place at all!!!! The taste of their food was not worth the price. We ordered dishes that do not contain shellfish, as I am allergic. They were told this at the time of the order. After eating it, my allergy was triggered. I called to talk to a manager about it today and was told no manager on duty. I asked when one was available to speak with and was just told "no." When I explained what happened, the lady just kept denying that it occured and then cut me off and said, "Ok, bye now...bye now." DO NOT ORDER FROM EXPRESS WOK IN PEORIA if you have a SHELLFISH ALLERGY or want good Chinese food for a reasonable price. I rarely ever complain about bad restaurants but this one takes the cake as the worst in a long time!
