Arthur & Co

Arthur & Co rides the line between casual and fine dining. Every course was delicious and came at a decent price (about $15 for entrée, $30 for mains, $15 desserts). The atmosphere was nice with that modern exposed ceiling look to it and alfresco dining available. The onyl downside is the toilets are a bit of a trek downstairs and probably not wheelchair accessible. We'll definitely be returning soon.

My partner and i went on a Saturday night. We sat outside because inside was quite full, but it seemed service we slower outside like they'd forgot all of there customers outside. Waiting times we longer than id of expected. My partner ordered wine with his meal but they didnt bring the wine till after which was very disappointing and my partner said he didnt want it now. Overall it was kind of disappointing but i must mention due to the screw up with the wine they comped all of our drinks for the night which was good of them. Service was decent i will just say.

We are regulars at Arthur & Co - with good reason, they are 'so' consistent. Great service, quality food made fresh every day. Stand out dishes are the gnocchi [hey the add of prawns kicks this dish into the upper echelon]; their fish - and salmon when it is on, chicken, beef & lamb dishes are very well designed. Highly skilled team. New pork dish menu is outstanding. Staff, Management & Owner show care & understanding. Lovely vista/room.

From the warm greeting to the outstanding food, I couldn't have had a nicer evening. Not cheap but not expensive. Not a huge menu but just enough to satisfy any type of hunger. Best flank steak I've ever had. Whilst it was sad to see so few diners on a Thursday night, this did not deter the enthusiasm and professionalism of the staff. Nice venue too....
