Fancy upgrade of the restaurant post pandemic. Great wine and sake list. The menu is slightly different from before, sashimi is thick and generous. More expensive menu than before but still worth it. Staff are nice. We did not realize we stayed past the official close time but the staff were very polite.

1st time returning to Is Donburi after they’ve relocated. The place is a lovely dining place now and beautifully decorated. The wait time was longer than expected but I guess that’s how you can tell whether the place is worth trying or not.
The food turned out to be delicious, beautifully presented and cooked. Sashimi was of good quality, although not the freshest top quality like some specific Japanese dining places I’ve tried but nevertheless still very enjoyable.
Not sure whether they are short staffed or not but staff all seemed to be so busy and somewhat a little hard to get attention. However, once attended, they all were lovely and friendly.
Will definitely return for more 😋

Good service clean place and good quality food. At the google, on Saturday opening time is 11am but we waited until 11.35am! They need to update the time and be on time!

Most delicious veg udon soup I've had. Layers of flavours. Sushi is good, but of course more expensive than a street side vendor.

We went for early lunch on weekdays. We were the only one customer but service was quite slow. Anf I think they have new staff... and she didnt know so we need to wait until senior staff come over. We felt it was bit messy. Food was okay but rice was bit over cooked.

I’m here being supportive to a local small business. I have been here many times. Always good food with good price. Love the fine dining atmosphere and friendly staff. Will come back more.

Such good value, great presentation and nice food! Will definitely come again to try other menu!
Only suggestion would be a bit less Mayo on the aburi salmon 😂
