Babooshka

We were the only people ordering food and had to wait around 20 minutes for the food!!! And even then it was very average. Poached eggs were more like HARD boiled eggs. Bread was more like 2 week old bread that's been toasted and hard! Kitchen staff were loud and very annoying. The only silver lining was that the milkshake and coffee was good.

Very overhyped cafe in an otherwise charming location down Williams lane. Coffee is okay but nothing to write home about. Food menu features all the usual brunch suspects but between the generic produce being used and ordinary execution of dishes there's really not really anything special here. People rave about the obscene milkshakes that are just jam packed with about every type of donut/sugary accompaniment under the sun and are hugely impractical to eat/drink. Might be showing my age but it seems like just a clever viral marketing that would only appeal to teens. (Of which there are many that frequent here.)

35minute wait for food. Bread was rock solid stale, poached eggs hard, ‘side of bacon’ consisted of two small strips mainly fat. Smashed avo was brown and off. Told to move tables half way through breakfast to accommodate an incorrect booking, moved from a table to bar stools mid breakfast. NEVER EAT HERE absolutely shocking food and service!
