Gami

This is a hard review to write, as the food was nice but the service was terrible from front of house. We were met by a employee who told our group of 7 that there would be a long wait of 20-30 minutes for food, which we were fine with. The employee seemed displeased that we chose to dine there however, and that feeling went in to the service we received after. We had to fight to get our order in due to being ignored for other priorities such as clearing tables... I nearly had my food poured all over me when the employee served our food and had to dodge the sticky sauce or I would have been as coated as the chicken. The cook however at one point came out and let us know that the spicy chicken would take a while longer than the rest and his demeanor and service was wonderful and put the front of house to shame. The food itself was great, large portions and tasted beautiful, we had 3 full boneless chickens each coated in a different sauce with a variety of sides.. warning the spicy one is hot lol.

Awful service was seated had to ask for menu, had to ask to have order taken, had to ask for water, and 2 bottled beers took over 30 mins to arrive just bottles no glass or anything. Boneless chicken , beef dish and dumplings were greay! The seafood pancakes were awful, so heavy and dry and black on the outside staff didnt care about anything we said seemed more annoyed we were there will never return and never recommend it to anyone worst dining experience

The food was amazing! Had soy garlic boneless chicken which was lovely. Cheese corn is great if you'd like something sweeter. I love my Korean pancakes any day. The pork bulgogi was delicious too! Alittle spicy but not too much. Korean rice cakes came with noodles which made the whole meal really filling and satisfying :) Service was great. I had one of the staff from NZ who kept my baby boy entertained the whole night. He loved her, which made it easy for us to eat our dinner without any baby fussing :) appreciate that. I actually ordered wings - 8 pieces for $13 (chose sweet chili and soy garlic) but was given a whole boneless chicken for $35 (also with the same flavours I chose). We didn’t think much about it as this was our first time here and had no clue what was given to us, and we thought that the waitress had misheard our order and hence, given us the whole boneless chicken. Nevertheless, we ate it and the chicken was absolutely delicious, especially the soy garlic flavour. Nice crisp and very tender. The cabbage coleslaw complemented the chicken well but it wasn’t the star of the dish. When we went to pay the bill, the waitress who took our order acknowledged that the server made a mistake in giving us the whole chicken. However, she did not charge us for the whole chicken but instead, we were charged for what we ordered (the $13 wings). That was really good customer service as it wasn’t our fault that we were given a wrong order but ate it. Good job!
