Have been waiting 45 minutes now for my take away and just saw another table complain about their meals coming out all in 10-15 minute intervals. Definitely need more staff on in the kitchen for a Saturday night if you want to give great service. Really hoping the food is worth the wait. Edit: Nope.. food is terrible. Mushy noodles and flavourless sauces. Watery veg which couldn’t have been fresh. Went straight in the bin I’m all for supporting smaller businesses but you have to up your game!

We decided this is the last time we visit this place. We ordered $13.8 Peking Ribs with rice, $14.8 baked rice in creamy sauce with chicken fillet. When the server put the Peking ribs on the table I couldn’t believe what I see. Few pieces of pork meat and rice?! That’s it Nothing else?? I don’t have high expectation for this place and I’ve been there for quite a few times already but the recent experience were too underwhelming made me spend all this time to post a common. the take away last time and the food we had today it’s very very disappointing. As a female, the portion size is not even enough for me...the portion of the take away is even smaller...and the taste of 梅菜扣肉飯...just avoid it! Disgust. The pineapple fry rice were average. Sorry I forgot to take the pictures for you guys reference. I really wish this restaurant can do better and thrive as a Hong konger. but for now we’d stay away from it

This restaurant offers a very extensive menu of Hong Kong tea cafe comfort foods including stir fries, sizzling dishes, noodles, rice dishes, snacks - from individual portions to sharing plates it has plenty to choose from. The food is good if not pretty standard. If you're craving Hong Kong tea cafe style treats that'll satisfy your appetite, this place fits the bill. However, the Hong Kong style drinks we had were pretty average, with average tasting tea and lack of good tea and coffee flavour in the cold Yuen Yeung. The venue has quite a lot of internal seating including table and booth style seating, and with Hong Kong memorabilia throughout, this makes for an inviting experience.

The interior is funky and the murals on the wall pay a homage to hong kong. The male tiolet felt slighty dodgy, like them dodgy alleyways in hong kong away from the neon signs. Customer service didn't really come with a smile but it was expedient and welcoming nethertheless. We tried the fried squid. It was tasty, fresh and lightly chilly, albeit somewhat salty. The main was braised beef and chicken both of which were generously portioned and more importantly was delicious when supplemented with white rice. For dessert we tried fried bun with red beans and ice cream. It was good if you have a sweet tooth, unfortunately a bit too sweet for me. Overall worthy place to visit and try it out.
