Good coffee, poor human decency.
While waiting for a coffee (one of only two customers waiting), two aboriginal ladies walked by and asked the staff if they could fill their water bottle up. Not a big ask in my book. The staff members quietly deliberated between themselves before using the excuse that they were "too busy right now" and the ladies needed to go down the street. The ladies walked away before coming back to ask again only to get the same response.
It seems that we only treat each other with respect when there is money involved. Will be getting my coffee elsewhere from now on.
