Forest Lakes Chinese Restaurant

Waited 40 minutes for a cold dish of sweet n sour chicken. Rice was ok. Salt and pepper Chicken was dry and tasted like there was nothing inside it. Sat us near the front door (see pics) door was opened by a large family going in and out and other takeaway orders, about 30 times,wafting in cold air and having our table banged by the door! Attitude of lady behind the counter was bad. I explained that our chicken was cold and we hadn't received our other items we ordered... She replied that 'how cold when just cooked' I said, it's cold go see for yourself. They replaced it and brought out our other dish which was also cold, then we finally got our hotter sweet n sour chicken. Will not be back. Go elsewhere, Tang palace in Maddington is far better and only 10 minutes away.

You'd think going to a restaurant where you expect decent food that they actually use real chicken, not manufactured plastic looking junk you find in chicken nuggets from McDonald's...not angry just disappointed. The saving grace was the beef which was pretty good. Use real chicken, it's not expensive.

Absolutely horrible !! Stay beef smelt fishy and tasted fishy also had pineapple in it with no veggies! , honey chicken was not nice it looked old and tasted old had black spots within use could use real chicken ! Everything we got was yucky I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone! Deffently not worth the money, and they even charge extra on Christmas which is not fair !

Went tonight to this place. The wait for the food's long, about 1 hour before the food started arriving. Another 10 min between dishes... the duck was cold after finally arrived and the chicken greasy. Everything in the menu is overpriced. $315 dollars for 4 people. Also, the owner only accepts cash or debit card. Don't ask for a receipt, they won't give it to you, the lady in the counter yelled "can't you see I'm busy?" after I requested one.
