Oporto

One year ago I rated this restaurant 5 stars. Sadly it must have changed management because it has gone downhill. I ordered the same meal I've had on a few previous occassions. The last time I complained about the tomato salad being green (unripe) so I thought must have got a had batch. Last time on August 14 was the same, terrible tomato salad which used to be absolutely delicious the first few times. Also the beautiful thick fresh half round pita bread that goes with the garlic dip you don't get anymore. They've gone cheap and nasty and give you flat Lebanese bread out of a packet. Bye bye Oporto if you want to be cheap then look forward to going out of business fast.

I do not usually write reviews but this was one of the most disappointing meals I have ever bought in my life. The portion was ridiculously small for the price and the chicken although was juicy and cooked well, was so bland and tasteless even with the basting. The burger was wet and soggy with no flavour whatsoever and was made with very cheap and gross bread, the white bit of lettuce, and unseasoned soggy chicken. I also did not receive my dip which was supposed to come with the meal. Chips also did not have enough salt and I had to dip it in oil oozing from the chicken for any sort of flavouring at all. I hate wasting food but I honestly couldn't even finish my meal because of how bad it was. Staff was friendly but thats not an excuse for awful food. For the price, I expected much higher quality, better flavour and portion size. Will not be going to oporto ever again.

Just ordered a chicken rappa meal from this store today and by the time I arrived to my destination only 5 mins later, the oil from the ridiculous amount of chilli sauce that was out on had seeped through the entire wrap, the paper and the bag and onto my car seat…. I could not even pick up the wrap to eat without being covered in oil. Waste of money other than the chips and drink

Ordered pulled chicken rappa and got some other stuff.. this has happened twice. I wish would have asked for the receipt… guys probably working there don’t understand the difference between pulled or some of there other bondi rappa… please ask for receipt always as people working there incompetent to read what you ordered…

3 stars for the rice and the friendly staff on drive thru today, even though they forgot to place napkin and fork with my rice but luckly i hadnt drove away far so went back, he apologised for that. the chicken strips seemed burnt and asked the person in window if thats normal as it didn't look like the picture was told its meant to look burnt. i feel like they fried cook in high pressure for a small time frame and thats why its burnt. not a fan of this spicy sauce as its too oily but everyones different. would be back again for the rice.

Decent burgers with solid chicken patties and tangy saucy sauces just off Albany Highway. Staff are pleasant and service speed is fair. Shop is spacious and clean, with poppy hits playing. Serving size is generous (especially the chips), and burgers have lots of green in them. Pricing is around $12-15 for a meal.
