I’m from Birmingham and it’s a tough show to follow when it comes to Indian/Pakistani food. I’m Pakistani of origin. This establishment has one of the tastiest and authentic food I have had . Definitely returning with the rest of my colleagues later on the week. Very friendly staff. Smashed it out the park.

Only ordered a takeaway but it was perfect. Curry came with pilau rice which I didn’t realise and was happy about. I ordered the balti keema and the lamb chops. Both were brilliant. Deliver was fast and a couple free Popadoms thrown in too. Definitely going to be ordering again

Perfect visit, it was late and quiet when I arrived but the staff were more than happy to open the restaurant back up for me, seating me in the best spot and being incredibly attentive to my needs. As you can see from the photo, the food was gorgeous, really do recommend!

Went to visit this place, as I was away on a work visit, tried the food it was amazing and flavorful, the only down side is that the interior is very old..

As a man who works away a lot, I have managed to find a quality restaurant/takeaway in every city around the UK, which I frequent often. Each of these places are fantastic in themselves but the Taj Mahal in Peterborough I have to say is not only an exceptional restaurant, it’s hands down the best curry I have ever had. Literally. Amazing staff, very courteous, friendly and accommodating. And they have a magician as a chef. You have to taste it to understand. My go to place for Peterborough. Definitely recommend.

This restaurant was well rated, so I thought I would give it a try. I wasn't disappointed. I started with poppadoms and a colourful chutney tray. For main course I had a prawn vindaloo, which was satisfyingly hot, washed down with Cobra beer. My friends and I were well looked after throughout the meal, with regular drink top-ups offered. A friendly and funny service was provided.
