Brilliant service, lovely and clean. Good social distancing measures in place. The food was exceptional and completely exceeded our 'pub food expectations.

Price is very reasonable, good portions and everything cooked wonderfully. Sauces seemed homemade, gravy pulled everything together. Traditional bread and butter pudding to finish was great.

Quite possibly the best English Roast that I have had. Starter main course and dessert were all fantastic. You need to try this place, Highly recommended.

Amazing lunch. I had beef & my friend had lamb. Lovely selection of vegetables & lovely & hot.
Desserts were also very good & all home made. Definitely going back.

Very Old English Pub. Typical old fashioned style. Lots of old cosy atmosphere, beams, pews, benches, tables and chairs. A few seperate dining areas too. Menu looked a bit pricey but the food we saw being served looked lovely, was more gastro food and was being served all day. A lovely enclosed courtyard with picnic type benches and tables with umberellas Bright plants and pagoda with climber plants.

Came here to get lunch on a Sunday. All four of us had a lovely meal and were greater by very friendly staff. The kids fish goujons were very large which they were very happy of. Myself and my mum both had the fish and we were not disappointed. Very tasty meal, a very large size with lots of vegetables on the side. Will be going back when we are in the area.

We have been to the Rose and Crown in Thorney three times recently. On each occasion we have had an excellent meal. Once for Sunday lunch. Extensive menu all freshly home cooked.Portion sizes are generous and a good choice of desserts. Staff are very friendly and helpful and the Guinness is excellent. Would definitely recommend a visit.
