Went tonight for a birthday meal. The staff were extremely polite and the service was fantastic. The food…… the food was brilliant. We had the lasagna, best home made lasagna I have had in years. The other meals were just as good. Chicken and bacon stack, hunters chicken. All cooked to perfection, all dishes were served in generous portions (talk about value for money).
The atmosphere was lovely, music playing but even with the tennis on the TV, it wasn’t noisy.
A very warm and welcoming venue. Thank you so much for our lovely evening.

What a great country pub! Turned up when they were busy but they still managed to accommodate us! Awesome meal for £8! The bar staff are lovely!

Best Pub in Crowland by far. Always a warm welcome and a great choice of beers. Only 1 real ale at a time usually but always perfectly kept and served. Highly recommended.

We stopped off here for lunch on our way to Mill Farm Lesiure in Wrangle Bank.
The landlord was very welcoming and brought us the menus. The food was good home cooked food and plenty of it for a very reasonable price - total cost for lunch was £20 including a pint and a ½ of larger shandy - bargain if you ask me.
If you are looking for a friendly place to eat and have a drink, give the George and Angel a go, you won't regret it.
