If you like a grungy live music pub with real ale, it's the best in town, with staff who are, without exception, excellent. I've never eaten there but I'll chuck in four stars for food on faith. When Tacos & Flipflops have got a pop-up, it gets 5.

Often call in here when in Peterborough- excellent real ale selection, 5 or so frequently changing. Several seating areas inside, pool table, pretty outdoor area with tables and benches. Live music regularly. Bar food.

The atmosphere is marvelous at the Ostrich. It's quint and reminds you of the underground music scenes. When there's a club playing the atmosphere is at its peak.
The staff are friendly and most importantly, they're extremely competent at their duties. Drinks are served well, without bias.
I aim to visit often.

Really nice little pub. Friendly bar staff and a very good selection of beers. Also has a small beer garden to the rear but unfortunately was raining pretty bad when I visited so didn't get to enjoy it. Would def recommend and will go back when in the area.

A great little pub, very cozy. Lovely staff. A gorgeous back garden. You could be abroad or by the coast in this little gem. Lots of live bands on to boot

Argyle on tour!! We got stuffed so I am searching out real ale pubs to drown my sorrows.....and the Ostrich was on the list. And its really good....vibrant....and quite quirky with little nooks and crannies.....including an outdoor area which looked great but I wasn't sure if it was outside!! I met some fellow Argyle fans and we spent a few hours drinking talking and playing pool. Good real ales....ever had a vegan one......oops and ugh. Super atmosphere everyone enjoying themselves and bar staff great...

I brought a couple of touring punk bands to the Ostrich on a Monday night.
What a great place! Our hosts were exceptionally nice and very accommodating. The place was packed and everyone was friendly and welcoming.
We were offered first class vegan, Mexican food that we all enjoyed.
I recommend The Ostrich Inn to everyone reading this.

Easily the best of Peterborough’s pubs. A very friendly and quirky independent back street boozer in the middle of pboro town centre. Real ales, some craft beer lines, and specialises in gin and rums. Varied live music most thurs-Sundays. Lovely small beer garden. Pool table. Not really a food pub but does pies.
