Fryz Fish And Chips

Haven't been in, but they catered the 'Flying Codman' event at Nene Valley Railway, and it was honestly the best fish and chips I've ever had. Chips were perfectly cooked and had great flavour, and the fish was simply amazing. I'm normally not a fan of chip shop fish as it can often be dry/flavourless, but the fish here was beautiful. Same with chips I often find myself drowning them in vinegar, but these barely even needed salt. I will be recommending to all my friends and family in Peterborough.

How you can tell a good chippy from a bad one? 1. You don't smell the oil and cooking from the door. 2. Staff welcome you with a smile and wear uniforms. ( if they serve you in a T-Shirt, they really don't care what you get). 3. Prices are not written in pen or crossed out/ labelled over). 4. Clean. You can tell as you first step in. 5. If you get a takeaway and your chips are stuck together or oily, the oil is old. You can smell the taste of old oil. 6. Overkill on chips. If you get enough chips for 3 people, they are covering their mistakes. Had the unfortunate experience of a really bad chippy in Peterborough. ( should I mention it?). Came across this one, and you can tell they really care. Nice light lunch and great staff. Wrapped nicely with the receipt. Thanks! Faults? Just put Saveloys on the menu😁
