The Food Forest

Had lunch there today and it was excellent. The beet hummus was great! Had the caesar salad and really liked it. Also the whiskey sour was so good, I will definitely have one of those again. If you are looking for a great vegan restaurant then this is your best choice. You will need to find parking on the street if you drive. They seem to be open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

I have celiac disease, and when it comes to eating out, it can be a real pain sometimes. Many places will say they have "gluten-free options," but when you do some digging, you'll find that they don't really know what they're talking about. I don't know why, but cross-contamination seems to be a really hard concept for people to understand. My girlfriend told me about this place, and after some convincing and looking over the menu together online, I decided we should try it out. I was very impressed by what I saw on their website, and it was very clear these guys really did know what they were talking about. This is a truly gluten-free restaurant, and if you have dietary restrictions, it feels really good to be able to order whatever you want off the menu like a normal person, and skip all the prior research/reading through allergen menus. I was very impressed by the food, it was delicious, had very generous portions and was pretty reasonably priced. A big plus in my book is that it was cooked to order. There was also a really chill vibe and ambience in the restaurant itself. We really liked the music and the overall mood. Overall, we had an absolutely great time here and will definitely be coming back. My gf was very impressed by the food as well. We literally couldn't stop thinking about how great this place was for days. Thank you for a very memorable experience. Stop reading this, and just go already... this review does not do justice to the greatness of the Food Forest.

Great vegan spot! Anyone should check it out! Went here a couple years ago during the Covid lockdowns on our way back from a camping trip. The server was super friendly and helpful when we ordered. We ordered a sandwich and a bowl, plus a couple smoothies. The food was just what we wanted after a long week out camping! Thank you again!

We just finished lunch; got the sweet potato chili w/cheesey nacho upgrade. Very pleasantly surprised w/their inhouse cheese sauce & the portion size for an appetizer. We were basically the only ones in there, but nevertheless the atmosphere was pleasant. The music is modern and very 'alt-millenial' as a vibe. Music might be a bit loud for some. Would def come back
