Awesome food with generous portions. Mahadi, the owner / chef is a wonderful host caring for his customers satisfaction.
The Lamb Shank DoPyazie lived up to is expectations. The Cheese filled Falafel was a treat which we had never tried out. The salads too are loaded. Washrooms well maintained. Already recommended to my family and friends.
Will have to visit again to try out other items on the menu.

Very good food! Ordered Chiken Biryani and Beef and it was very tasty. Also, had a side of the garlic potatoes and they were yummy.

What an awesome experience friendly staff. The food is so wonderfully spiced. Aromatic scents as it comes to the table. Biting into my kebab combo especially the shami kebab the flavours that hit the taste buds were amazing. Wonderfully priced amazing food will go again. Worth trying the food and may take my daughter as she is vegetarian next. So many wonderful choices. You can take it home or if you are at the marina or a tourist pick some up. Very family oriented and heart and soul cooking.

Silk Roots is our go-to for hot and delicious Mediterranean/Middle Eastern food. Everything we've had there, and we've tried almost everything, is so so flavourful and tasty, I end up craving it on a weekly basis. The owner and chef of the restaurant, a sister and brother team, are super friendly and happy to suggest items if you're a first timer or just looking to try something new. Great service and very kind. Have been here a few times and every visit the food and service gets better and better!

The rise is always fresh and every single entree I've had there has been excellent. They cook everything when you order it so be sure to call ahead but that mean your food was made for you and it hadn't been sitting around in a container.Had the lamb shank meal and it was delicious!! Fall off the bone and reasonably priced. But on 2 other occasions, I came to have dinner when it was supposed to be open and it was closed.

Gotta love their food. Definitely some of the best middle Eastern food in town. Literally, try anything and you will likely be very satisfied. I've been here plenty of times and still have my mind blown every time. Magic sauce is obviously fantastic, ask for a little extra on everything. Also, just before you leave, get a taste of that Baklava. Would highly recommend to anyone, anyday.

This has been our favourite casual dining spot since they opened! I am vegan and my partner is not and we both love Silk Roots. Their falafel plate is my favourite and it is consistently amazing every time. The owner knows I order the exact same thing every time (falafel plate) and is kind enough to suggest other veggie options for us to try. This is a family-run business, so their kids are in the restaurant quite often, which is an atmosphere that we love supporting.
