Gurkha Durbaar

Enjoyed an exceptional meal with family last night as part of my Birthday celebrations. All dishes were excellent, but the Momo starter, Sag Aloo side and Laal Maans main were the stand outs. The latter lamb curry probably being the best version of it I've eaten in the UK, note it is spiced hot (madras to vindaloo level I would estimate) but not overly so. Attentive and friendly service throughout, plus they brought out a Birthday celebration ice cream and candle at the end of the meal. Super all round experience, a generous meal and drinks for four coming in at circa 30 pounds per head inc service charge. Great value and high quality in a spotlessly clean and modern venue. Well worth this 5* review.

I visited the restaurant last night with a group of 14 people from the Theatre ,and this was my first visit to the restaurant. What can I say my experience was first class from being welcomed into the restaurant right through to our eating experience. The food was absolutely delicious to look at and tasted divine. Our guest were given plenty of time between each Course therefore encouraging lots of conversation The restaurant itself is so very tastefully decorated and all furnishing are very plush creating a wonderful eating experience.I will definitely be making a return visit to the restaurant and will be recommending to all off my friends.A big well done to the staff and chefs and not forgetting the management.
