Ocean Prime

Lovely place! Rivals the Steven Starr restaurants in the area. The staff was great, could have been a tiny bit more attentive but it didn't ruin the occasion by any means. The atmosphere was great, almost felt like a hidden gem, and the food & drinks were awesome. What I would recommend, to the restaurant/owner, is to be more demanding on their stance around dress attire. There is a sign that states it and a couple walked in with track suits. Does that ruin it for me? Personally, maybe, but I can't rate it against my experience. I wouldn't want to push anyone away or make them feel lesser of themselves, but it's more formal dining for a reason - a dress code isn't unreasonable in my opinion.

This place is by far the best restaurant in center city!! Started my evening by having drinks at the bar. Melody & Angus were phenomenal!!! Their drink recommendation was spot on and they were quick and observant. Service at dinner by Colin was astonishing. He was so friendly and funny. Everyone made us feel like family. Wonderful time especially because of Melody, Angus & Colin.

We are not huge Philly people, but we randomly decided to go to the city for our Anniversary and I couldn’t be happier we did! We had hands down the BEST meal we have ever had and my boyfriend is a executive chef at a local fine dining restaurant! We called to move our reservation up and it was Done with no problem, our table was covered in rose petals for our Anniversary which was such a sweet touch. Our server Casey was knowledgeable of EVERYTHING on the menu and the specials… she explained everything down to every sauce and method of cooking! We shared a Surf and Turf appetizer and the best wedge and Caesar salad EVER! Our entrees where even better, even tho we could barley walk by the end of our dinner we were offered a desert on the house for our anniversary and indulged in the amazing crème brûlée!! We thank you so much for such an amazing experience we will 10000% be back! 10/10 recommend to anyone and everyone.

I cannot say enough about this place. First of all the bar has the best bar tenders. Alexis was so good to us and a pleasure to chat with. Truffle popcorn at the bar was a highlight for me - so good! Monday oyster night is a can't miss. Wine list is phenomenal and truly 10/10. Food was so good. Definitely a highlight of our trip to Philly.

There aren't enough words to describe how wonderful Our experience was at Ocean Prime. The Service was Top Notch, each part of the meal was Impecable, and the atmosphere was warm & inviting. This place while pricey was worth Every Penny!! Bryce, our server went out of his way to make sure Our Anniversary was one to remember, and even Ryan the manager Stopped by to make sure we were having a Great Time!!! The food was exceptional!!! The ambiance was perfect for a date night with my girlfriend. The drinks were made with passion & you might not be able to taste the alcohol but trust me, its in there. I will say as “pricey” as it is, the price fits for the level of care, service, cleanliness, and over fine dining experience. I got the lobster linguine and my girlfriend got the 8oz steak with a loaded baked potato. Everything tasted DELICIOUS! I have not one singular complaint which is rare. I will definitely be back. Oh - it says on the site that you have to “dress” the part but we saw people there in basketball jerseys & shorts so not really sure what the dress code is. Or maybe thats only acceptable if you’re at the bar? Anyway, made no difference to me.

A beef sushi? I guess it is a steak house so it works. A good place for a business meeting. Very upscale restaurant and clientele. Service was fantastic and bar service is very quick. I definitely recommend the seafood tower if you like shellfish. The crab and lobster were perfect. Dessert is sized to share so it would be best to not order individually.

This place is fabulous. I had the Sea Scallops on Parmesan Risotto, English Peas, with Citrus Vinaigrette. The scallops were sautéed to perfection and they were moist and melted in your mouth like better. The service was flawless and the entries everyone ordered was gorgeous. We were very full but we decided on two deserts - the carrot cake and the cream brûlée. That was absolutely the best brûlée I’ve ever had. This was a special day and celebration of an award and this meal was the perfect ending.
