The food wasn't the greatest at the time I was there, but everything else about the place was great. The Mac 'n cheese was good. I hope to return and enjoy my whole meal for such a nice place.

This Sunday I had dinner with a friend., at the Twisted Tail.
I’d been there before. We choose the tasting menu. Our choices included Caesar Salad , baby lamb chops, roasted Duck Short Ribs & a luscious dessert. Everything was cooked to perfection.
The service was excellent,
Even the live band & singer on key.
( Sorry couldn’t help myself )

My experience was marked by a personable and knowledgeable waiter who graciously provided insightful suggestions. Opting for the chef's tasting, the standout recommendations were the exquisite mushroom toast and delectable duck. Culminating the meal with the apple tart proved to be an excellent choice, adding a sweet crescendo to the overall gastronomic affair. The combination of attentive service and noteworthy culinary selections rendered this dining experience notably enjoyable. My only gripe was the original seating location, next to the window on an extremely cold day. We were able to move to a table further from the window; however, I would have expected for the hosts not to seat guests next to the window on a cold evening to maintain customer comfort. I would recommend this restaurant for a group outing and date night.

Thank you for an amazing experience! Started with our bartender Mark, Guinness was awesomely poured! Super cold, fresh salad with our dinner. I got Mac and cheese on a Friday!!! And the steaks were amazing! Bonus, met the owner, as she came around to EVERY table to make sure her customers were happy!!!!

Looking for music on a Sunday night? They have a sit in session on Sunday nights that's great. Always a different line up of people and instruments, but I'm always impressed. There also always seems to be a group of people from some dance class that are fun to watch too!

Although a bit overpriced in my opinion, it’s definitely a fun experience to have at least once, and the meat menu had quite some exotic meats. Also fun to work with random people around you to guess the dish.

Very loud upstairs but it was an enjoyable experience with the live jazz on Friday night. The food was exquisite and highly recommend the chefs menu where you get to try most of the dishes. The dessert was an apple crumble with in house made ice cream!

Some of the best fried chicken and BBQ smoked ribs you can find in a restaurant right now in Philly -- y'all, I'm shook! ❤️

We went for Dining in the dark. It was a fixed menu so I couldn't comment on the rest of the food. But we enjoyed ourself immensely . The dishes we had were creative and tasty. The wait staff was attentive.

Had a great dinner with a friend during restaurant week. Cozy atmosphere. The drinks were great. Mussels were delicious but the bread was a bit stale. The arugula salad with peach was so simple yet an amazing combo.
