Aya's Cafe

Love, love, love this place! Everything is AWESOME about this restaurant including the staff! You cannot go wrong; I promise you! Tiki is my favorite! He is such an awesome host; very attentive and professional! If l lived in center city, I would literally eat here every single day; in or outside! The ambiance is so cozy and comfortable!

I'm so glad I picked Aya's Cafe for my birthday dinner tonight. The food, from the soup and appetizers, to the entree and dessert, were all delicious. Plus, service was outstanding. The only complaint I have is there were a lot of entrees on the website menu that weren't available in the restaurant. There were even some items on Aya's menu that weren't available either. That said, I'm still giving Aya's five stars.

This cosy place is one street away from the hustle and bustle of chestnut and market street. The comfy couches, soft music and amazing food make me wonder how it's not always bustling with people. I've never had to make a reservation here but I've also only come on weekday nights. There are a myriad of vegan options here. We tend to get the couscous everytime and it's never disappointed. Also tried the mix appetizer this time with different hummus and that was really good and super filling. They even brought us extra pita when we had extra hummus leftover. Very good food and super nice service.

Great experience. We absolutely loved it. Very romantic and service was great. We had the three-course dinner; soup or salad, main course, dessert. Soup (lentil): 5/5 Salad:4/5 Main course (chicken cofta and ground beef): 5/5 Rice (with raisins): 3/5 (personal preference) Bread: 5/5 Tahini sauce: 5/5 Dessert: rice pudding 5/5 & baklava 5/5

The staff was very friendly towards our dog and asked if we wanted some water in bowl. We said yes and when he came back with the water bowl we realized that he put ice cubes in the water bowl. If that's not going the extra mile i don't know what is!! My girlfriend ordered the falafel sandwich and she told me it was the best she's ever had. Full disclosure, the card machine was broken when i went in to pay. I had to go to the grocery store nearby to get cash. Hopefully this was something temporary. Still 5 stars for being pet friendly!
