Excellent service and meals in this classic art deco restaurant across from the University of Pennsylvania. We went for brunch and were not disappointed. I had the shrimp and grits And they were just as good as any I've had in the South. Our daughter had crème brûlée French toast and it was delightful. And my wife had the ham and egg omelette which was amazing. I would highly recommend this place for anyone visiting the University of Pennsylvania campus in Philadelphia. The service was quick and friendly and the prices were not bad considering we were in the heart of Philly. Super accessible in terms of wheelchair access. I do recommend making a reservation as this place does get busy from what I understand. There was street parking available, however it was early on a Sunday. I am sure that planning ahead especially with parking would be a good idea.

Such a cute place with great food, drinks and service! I went for brunch this weekend with a friend and we had a nice time! I had the white cosmopolitan which was so tasty I had multiple. To eat I had a flavorful vegan burger and breakfast potatoes.

Couldn't find a brunch spot for me and my sister. Finally at the last minute we decided on Louie Louie and let me tell you, Louie Louie did not disappoint. I started off with the wagyu carpacio which melted in my mouth and it was topped with nothing but delicious flavor with a fresh green side salad. It was amazing! For my entree I ordered the shrimp rumulata.. well, send me the punch of flavor the remoulade did not give all the menu promised but the shrimp was quite succulent and cooked perfectly. I also ordered the oysters on the half shell which were so delicious with the minion yet sauce as well as the cocktail sauce I have to admit I could eat the cocktail sauce by itself it was so delicious. I decided to take the meeting yet sauce and give it a splash over the shrimp and the shrimp ring you live became a whole new dish I squeezed some of the lemon wedge from the oysters and it gave such a pop of flavor and now the shrimp is amazing! It just needed a little punch. My sister ordered the turkey bacon BLC croissant it looked so delicious the croissant look soft to the touch flaky buttery and absolutely delicious she loved it the turkey bacon was nice and thick cut the portions were great and all of our dishes the truffle fries were delicious we could have used a little more truffle flavor. All in all Louie Louie was a wonderful place to eat and I will definitely do a staycation with the hubby for a weekend at the end at Penn and visit Louie Louie once again!

Food: we had the ham sandwich and the turkey bacon on a croissant. The croissant was delicious, we subbed turkey bacon for regular bacon. The ham sandwich was uninspired and well below my expectations. Service was great, our server was kind and attentive. The atmosphere was lively for a Sunday brunch, the venue is stunning.

I went to Louie Louie's for brunch. This was my 4th time eating at this restaurant, but it was my first time going for brunch. It was AMAZING. I am a self-proclaimed French Toast Aficionado. I inhaled this food. I arrived at 11 and my plate was clean by 11:30 am. Everything was so good, including my Mint Chill drink.

Ate here on a night they were very short staffed. Took an hour to get a beverage. Our server was awesome though. Adorable place and the food has potential. My main dish was great. My salad was weird, it was a peach themed salad but mine has truffle oil on it. What a strange combo.

Came here for a late Saturday lunch. Service was warm and attentive. Food was delicious. Started new summer menu today. Atmosphere is very chill and many of the individuals were here to celebrate an occasion or on a date.

Very swanky in a shabby chic kind of way. Food is very fresh and everyone was pleased with their plates. The truffle fries are to die for. Just the right amount of truffle. Most of the servers seem very attentive, except for ours. She brought the wrong dish, and it took forever to catch her attention. Not that she was a bad waiter, but others seemed more attentive and it took longer for us to get refills, hot sauce, etc. I guess it is luck of the draw, but the food is worth it.

Delicious and super cute on the inside. We had a Sunday night reservation and got sat right away. The food was really good and I would definitely return! We shared the house made bread which had a great burst of flavor when you add on the tomatoes. The entree portions were huge. I got the gnocchi and my boyfriend got the pappardelle. I would recommend both of them. The apple pie profiteroles we’re good but not my favorite but that’s just an opinion, they were objectively good. Our server, Keaton, was very attentive and knowledgeable.
