Cheu Fishtown

One of my favorite restaurants, especially for an elevated take out!! A splurge but worth it - and mainly a splurge because my fiancé and I get 4 appetizers every time so that’s really our fault. 😂 Love that they keep their menu updated, rotating flavors but keeping their winning formula the same. Please never get rid of the coconut curry ramen!! Rangoons, dumplings, rice cracker, and noodles are all excellent. My dying wish is for you guys to bring back the tandoori fried rice, ancient grain bowl, and fries!!! 🥹

This place was so adorable. I love the location, in and out. The food is good, nothing bad, just not the most flavorful ramen I've ever had; I had the brisket ramen and while the brisket fell apart it had no flavor and the broth wasn't really amazing. Ramen broth should reach up and punch you in the mouth. The Brussels sprouts app was really good. Service was very nice just inconsistent; we had to remind them a few times to bring me just a can of cider but then on the flip side, once we had our food she came back way too often to check on us, like, with our mouths full of food. All in all I love that this place exists and has ramen and other tasty sides and also serves alcohol so I will still definitely be back.

Wow, the food was wonderful. Got there right around 6 with 30 minutes left of happy hour, so we got to have apps and cocktails for a great price. The waitress comes by right before 6:30 to see if you want more from the happy hour menu before or ends, which is nice. Also got the steamed pork buns, which were to die for.

This ramen was really good on first try, definitely want to go back for more. What was great about this place is the food literally came out in 3 minutes. The menu is kind of small but I’m sure that means the dishes are better prepared? I’ll update this when I go back to confirm. I got brisket ramen and it was good and unique enough that I’ll be back. The space was very cool and the waitress was polite. The other pic is of the pork ramen. I have since gone back and also got dumplings. Their ramen still hit the second spot. Love this place!!
