Incredible pizza and incredible gelato. It’s a little cramped inside, and the wait for a four-seat table was three hours (we just pulled up chairs to a smaller table), but the atmosphere is still nice. The kitchen is in the middle of the restaurant with a bar surrounding it creating a very unique vibe. We ordered pre-made pizza from the counter that they just reheated, meaning the wait for food was basically zero, and it was absolutely delicious. Some of the better pizza I’ve ever had, and all I got was cheese. It was all I needed to fall in love with the place, but then I got to have gelato. As for the gelato, it wasn’t anything extraordinary, but they had a nice selection of unique flavors, and it was as tasty as gelato always is. One gripe I do have is that, for some reason that’s beyond me, they don’t offer samples. Like they actually have a sign up that says that. So if you don’t know what something tastes like and you want to try it, you just have to order it and hope for the best. Overall, though, this place has superb food in a unique atmosphere and it is pretty cheap as well. I highly recommend coming here if you are in Philly.

Fantastic pizza for a late night stop. Kinda felt rushed out by the cleaning staff, but he was friendly about it so can't complain much. Pizza was crisp but saucy and tasty. Asked a lady walking into the shop before going in, and she said "the pizza is good here and I'm Italian so I have a say"! Pizza didn't disappoint after that hype. Price and ability to portion your own slice sizes made it even more of a great stop when different people from your friend group wanted different portions. One person just wanted two bites, another wanted three full slices, both taken care of. Staff there are very friendly and happy to answer your questions, but you just tell them how big of a slice of each kind you want, and they charge you by weight. Recommended for sure, and looking forward to stopping by another time.

Recently I went to the Alice Pizza, and I really liked it. The pizza was super tasty, with lots of good toppings. The people working there were nice and made sure we had a good time. The cafe's atmosphere was cozy and made me feel comfortable. I had a great time at this Italian cafe. The pizza was delicious, the service was friendly, and the atmosphere was cozy. I'll definitely go back again!

Pizza slices are priced by the ounce. They ask you how big but will show you about a two-square slice which I would consider about a 'regular' fullness as a typical pizza slice we are used to Patate Picante (potato, mozzarella) - really enjoyed this. Not too heavy for a 'regular' slice. The oil was dripping down my hand but this one didn't taste too oily. Would get this again Melanzane Piccanti (eggplant, spicy oil) - there was a bit of spicy but besides that, there wasn't much flavor. It felt very oily and mushy as I was eating this. Oily but not the greasy that immediately gives you a stomach ache. Would not get this again Both pizzas were served nice and crispy

We stumbled on this place by accident and what a lucky find! It was great depth find an authentic Italian bakery/pizzeria in Philly. My family had just come back from Italy so we were looking for a place with a similar atmosphere. This place did not disappoint. I ordered the sfogliatella with a double espresso. My daughter order Cantucci cookies and a cappuccino, she also ordered a gelato and some other pastries to go. There are steps directly at the corner entrance, you must go to the side for the accessible entrance. There is also accessible seating in that area. The staff was super friendly and willing to assist if we did not know what something was. There were also some free gelato samples which always help. Would definitely recommend this place! Especially if you're just looking for that afternoon break, between being a tourist and just enjoying yourself!

1. The food was quite good. We ordered the Philly pizza and a bruschetta. Although the portion size of the bruschetta was small, it was delicious. The bread was really soft and it wasn't hard to bite into. 2. The pizza held it's shape very well. It wasn't floppy. It tasted good too. 3. Didn't get a chance to order dessert. We were too full. They had so many dessert and gelato options. 4. The service was decent.

Intimate dining area and super friendly staff. Our group couldn’t pronounce 90% of the menu items but the waiter was happy to teach us and joke about it which was great! Everyone from our group of 7 ordered a 4 course meal for restaurant week. The prices were extremely reasonable and the food came out very fast. Highly recommend this place, especially during restaurant week!
