The best neighborhood bar in S. Center City! Love the staff, they have a no-funny business real-af attitude that is very charming (most of the time), good prices, and it's a reverse BYOB so if you get the sudden urge for a beer while you're in the middle of making lazanga don't fret, you can bring a plate with you to Dirty Frank's! The bar is awesome with its peanuts and chips, arcade machines, darts, colorful walls with innumerable pictures and magazine clippings, great selection for a good price, and best of all, some of the best crowds in the city if you're there on the right night! I love dirty franks...I wish I had a damn shirt with the Love Park heart that says "I love Dirty Franks".

For years this was my corner bar. A decade on, I’m always drawn back to DF’s cigarette-tainted glow stained from yesteryear. *no smoking inside these days.

An amazing dive filled with colorful regulars, weird and awesome decor and some art too! Drinks were cheap and strong and the jukebox is used only for making the world a better place. A strange installation of parasols over the bar are an excellent conversation piece and the ATM has delightfully been changed to read “eat me” home away from home
