The Sweet Life Bakeshop

Wonderful! I ordered a cake for a baby shower. I had specific visual based on a specific artist and dietary requirements due to allergies. I worked with Coco on the phone and she really got what I was after. The cake looked amazing and tasted great. Everyone at the party loved it! I had never been to the shop and arranged all this from Washington State. Great experience!

Great first experience when I ordered vegan cupcakes for a family birthday. The counter person was friendly and very helpful. She recommended a variety of popular flavors like chocolate, red velvet and raspberry. An unusual flavor, sweet potato, tasted like carrot cake and was the favorite at our party. Their prices are reasonable and they provided a sturdy carrying container for the treats. I will be back to try their famous banana pudding. Note that they only open at 11. They do stay open later than other bakeries.

My daughter and I stumbled upon this wonderful bakery today. Sign indicated they might be closed on Mondays but the door was open and we were welcomed with friendly smiles!! We got the peaches and cream pudding and the pumpkin spice pudding. We had it packaged up to go and ate it on the train home. OMG I wish we’d tried it at the shop so we could let them know how good it was!!! We will definitely go back whenever we are visiting Philly!!!

This beautiful pudding sampler is among the many stupendously delicious things I have enjoyed during my mini trips to Sweet life bakeshop on. And their peach cobbler is the best I’ve ever had, hands-down: full of fruit with a tender crumb. I thought the banana pudding was my all-time favorite, but now I don’t know what to think – really loving the salted caramel banana and strawberry banana. The vanilla and peach cobbler are to die for as well. Love this place!!

Just delicious! The nice people at the Sweet Life turn out ravishing cupcakes, puddings and pies. We've never had anything from this tiny oasis that wasn't first rate. Also, the soul food influence on the confections means you can get wonderful sweet potato cupcakes, pineapple upside down cake, and other southern style goodies. In fact, the only thing sweeter than the baked goods here are the staff. Lovely, friendly people! Go right now! You won't be disappointed.
