Dmitri's

This is one of my favorite BYOB. The food is delicious and fresh. We had the hummus, grilled octopus, grilled vegetables with feta, and a tomato, basil with mozzarella dish. Pair that with a nice wine and you have a lovely evening. The restaurant is very small so if you have to wait for a table, there is a bar across the street. You can go there and the restaurant will let you know when the table is available. They have fresh fish as well. It's grilled to perfection!

One of my favorite restaurants in the city, and has been for the last 25 years. The menu never changes. The shrimp pil pil may be one of my favorite dishes ever. The sauteed mussels, baba ganoush, and avocado citrus salad are amazing, but really, there are too many great dishes to name. And you can take your vegan friends; there are plenty of options. It can get crowded and loud, you must order all your food at once, and it's cash only. Bonus: it's BYOB.

Always come here when visiting the city. Small corner restaurant, cash only but totally worth it. Simple place inside but they cook everything (mostly fresh market fish and seafood) at the stove right in front of the restaurant. It’s BYOB as well so bring wine to pair! We always get the grilled octopus to start which is incredible. Our table had the shrimp scampi, scallops and fresh whole market fish (Brazino), all were delicious and fresh.

Food was good. I liked the lamb, it was very filling. When we were visiting Philly, we found that, most restaurants were closed or closing by the time we started looking (9pm-ish). This was open and food was sufficiently good. We tried octopus app, that was wonderful. Note that, finding a parking nearby is difficult and they are cash only.

I thoroughly enjoyed Dmitri's. we had the Shrimp Pil PIl and it was wonderful. We also also had the grilled Octopus and the meatballs. The Octopus was very good but we did not care for the meatballs. The place has "Small plates" but really they are a lot of food. The place is BYOB. It gets crowded, be prepared for a wait at peak hours, there are no reservations. You will like this place, we did.
