Al Zaytouna

Not a big reviewer but needed to make sure that the outstanding customer service is highlighted! There was a mixup in our delivery order and even though Al Zaytouna was out a driver, they still personally hand delivered our dinner only moments later to “make it right”. Not only is this the creamiest hummus in all the land, they’re true gems!

The food was absolutely amazing. I went There twice in 1 month and it never disappoints. I get The beef kabob entree every time. This time I got Baba ghanoush and it was so tasty. Def going to go here regularly. Me and 2 friends ate and the food was so fresh I couldnt Believe we got full for less than 100 dollars.

Al Zaytouna prepares exceptional Tunisian food. Their sandwhiches and entrees are fresh, with real vegetables ( not the ho hum kind), and authentic flavors. Their cous cous entrees remind me of meals from my childhood. The owner and his wife are warm and welcoming; this restaurant stayed open through the pandemic serving as long as people needed food. There are few restaurants ( despite all the hype), that really seem to care about the actual quality of the food they serve. This is one that really does care - and it shows. Everything is consistently terrific.

We stopped at this restaurant in the Italian Market at 9th and Christian. We ordered a lunch of a variety of appetizers. Everything was freshly made and delicious. An excellent restaurant for Mediterranean food We are looking forward to returning for a complete dinner. It is a BYOB, which also makes it very affordable.

I'm the only one in my family who doesn't eat beef. After standing the longest line ever to get them cheesesteaks from another place up the street, I was so happy to stumble upon Al Zaytouna. I had the falafel sandwich with no onions. It was so good! The ingredients were fresh. The falafel was light, not greasy and fried to perfection. The prices were great and I didn't wait long at all. With some places, you're left with a bunch of pita and no filling. Not Al Zaytouna. From end to end, there was delicious food. When I'm South Philly again, I'll definitely be back!

Ordered delivery and every single item (I ordered A LOT!) was absolutely delicious! This is my new favorite place. The hummus is amazing, the chicken shawarma was soooo good, the salad was so perfect with giant chunks of some of the best feta I've had, the chicken platter was fantastic, the baklava...amazing. I mean you literally cannot go wrong. I can't wait to order again and try a bunch of different items. This is legit good delivery. A+
