Chubby Cattle

Coming back to Chubby Cattle after nearly 1-2 years had me flabbergasted by some of the menu changes and new items such as a variety of sushi rolls to choose from. I highly suggest you come alone or a group of 3 people excluding yourself as you're able to have access to the conveyer belt if they sat you down on one of the smaller tables because it is a great starting point to pick out rolls that piques your interest, and likewise you can order it on the ipad for more pieces of the roll instead of just 2 at a time. Regarding the hotpot side of things, it still taste the same as I remembered years ago. However, if you want the best soup-base for experiencing a hotpot I'd go for the tomato ox-tail as it brings so much flavor to the food you're trying to cook compared to other ones. They do have three different levels of spicy flavored soup-base for those that like spice.

Wow, what a steal! We came for hotpot, on a Sunday and we're more than happy! $39 per person, all-you-can-eat for an hour and a half, which included hotpot, sushi, and appetizers! Drinks (including sodas and alcoholic beverages) were an additional cost. We didn't even make it the full 90 minutes before giving up, but even so, it was more than worth what we paid- just make sure you come with a big appetite! I highly recommend the Waygu Ribeye and the Sukiyaki broth!

This was our first time coming after they changed to all-you-can-eat and really liked it. Our server Sunny came by a lot and was good at telling us ahead of time which items didn't fit our dietary needs. (Note that much of the tofu isn't gluten free) Also the vegetable platter had tons of stuff I didn't know I'd like! Next time I'd be more careful to not add too much hot oil to my pot before tasting.
