Unpretentious without being a dive. Clean and approachable. Staff are veteran industry people who don't BS you with corporate spiels but know the rotating bets on tap and will steer you where you want to go. Highly recommended

My favorite bar in the city. The staff is beyond phenomenal. The food is amazing. The beer selection is endless. Is there anything else you need in a bar?

A lot of drinks on tap. Friendly staff. Truffle fries are my favorite here. Dogs are allowed :)

I used to really, really love this bar at their old location; it's lost it's divey feel... BUUUT, it's got the best happy hour, best draft beer list and best wings in philly. One of my must go-to's when Im in old city

I was just there once for happy hour, but $3 for a pint of craft brew kept me there for quite a while! The bartender was super nice, although it was slow so he actually chatted a bit with me.

Great selection with good happy hour deals. Previous location had more character, but this location is likely to get more footfall.

Amazing new spot, a huge step up from the previous location(even though the divey aspect was half the fun)...the new keg system is top notch with the digital display of everything on tap and getting tapped etc...plus the new bourbon room is incredible, never had a bad night at the old location and looking forward to a lot of great ones at the new spot

If you love dive bars and craft beers, then the Irish Pol is the place to be for you. They have 40 some beers on tap that just line the walls. They have a happy hour that can't be beat. All of the beer is craft or local and the bartenders are extremely knowledgeable. It is however a total hole in the wall, so don't expect cleanliness, loads of seating, or any of that stuff. There other places in old city for that.
