Good price for location and service! Here's a few things, valet parking only ($38) so that's an added expense. Also, you can "check in early" but you won't be able to get to your room until 3 pm. We arrived around 1 and they kept our bags for free and we were able to get exploring around Philly. We usually only stay a night, so if you're looking to do some more exploring, past the noon checkout time, you can keep your car in the valet until 5 pm. Bags, you say? For $1, I repeat, ONE DOLLAR/bag, they will store your luggage safely until you are ready to depart. As for the room, we've always had a clean and well-appointed room. They're not the largest, but they're very nice and again, for the location and amenities of the hotel, they're great. Would not really recommend the restaurant Urbantenotecha(?), they're good for breakfast, but otherwise... not so much. Take advantage of your location and visit some better offerings. Have not used the Audi A8 car service, but it's free and we have a room booked next month, plan on using it to get to our destination. If you have questions as to how far the car service goes, be sure to ask when you are booking the room. I asked and after a few minutes, they verified they would take us there. Overall, check this place out. It's not the absolute best, but for the price, is well located, well appointed, and has a generally friendly/helpful staff. Don't be too snobby, lol. UPDATE: I believe they raised the price for the bag check to $2-3 per bag.

I recently had to venture to Philly due to eye cancer and had care at the Wills Eye Institute. Obviously not a trip for pleasure but the hotel staff here made this unfortunate situation incredibly better. The Front staff was great, friendly, cheerful and incredibly helpful, thank you to Roshanda and Allison for always having a smile to greet us and offer assistance. The bell man Brandon was great as well and made us feel like we were friends for years with his hospitality and friendly banter every day. The chauffer drivers Roman and Parker were equally great, very personable, sympathetic and caring. They all also had great recommendations for dining and entertainment. They have earned a customer for life each time I need to go back to Philly for sure!!

I just got to the latham in Philly, it's raining cats and dogs outside. I just arrived here and was not expecting rain. I notice/see that there's complementary umbrella's in the lobby for use by patrons. I was greeted warmly, checked in promptly. I get situated in my room and go back downstairs and the staff is friendly, the areas are clean, it's happy hour and I'm starving. I tried an appetizer and a burger. Now, I know this is not a RESORT, and I only make that note to say that my expectations are not at the 5 star level. (I think of 5 star as white glove treatment). I only mention that due to some other posts that say not to go here. I think it's very nice, appropriately at 3.5 to 4 stars, it's not a large staffed resort, but it is a nicely staffed, clean, pleasant experience. I would stay here again with my wife.
