Hands down the best pizza I’ve ever had in my life. At first I was pissed because I wasn’t a fan of how much sauce was on the pie and I thought it would make the crust soggy. I couldn’t have been more wrong. The crust is CRISP! This was actually the biggest surprise for me because I don’t even like thin crust pizza. I have now been converted (only from this place though). I will absolutely be back! Hats off to the freaking chef!

Alex's Pizza is a small family owned corner pizzaria within Roxborough. We ordered online for pick up as there isn't a dine in option. Our pizza was fresh out of the oven when we arrived. We got a large pepperoni pizza with a side of sauce. The pizza was thin crust; nice and crispy. There was a generous amount of sauce on the pie compared to a lot of other pizzarias these days. The sauce on the pie was a little sweet but was not overpowering. The pepperoni were smaller rounds but they were cut thicker to still have a nice bite. The side of sauce that we also ordered was a little saltier than how it tasted when on the pie. Overall the pizza was delicious, just a tad greasy, but what good pizza doesn't have some grease on top of each slice. We will definitely be ordering from here again.

This gets huge WOW all the way around! Starting with the inside and outside. This was fully renovated, bright white and red signage and decor, so clean! Staff is too notch- polite, friendly, fast and courteous. The pizza was outstanding- the crust is perfect- not too thin not too thick- just right. The sauce and cheeses are blended perfectly and served piping hot- This is our new go-to pizza place in manyunk/Rox area of Philly! Thanks guys!

Pizza was a little floppier than I like, but I also arrived about 15 minutes after it was likely done. Overall a great Philly style pie with the sauce swirl. Sauce was hearty, flavorful, and a little sweet. Cheese likely had some cheddar in a really good way. Edges of the crust were charred and really satisfying. An amazing neighborhood spot definitely worth trying, and I will be back to try the upside down.

I’ve lived in Manayunk for 3 years and have been looking for a great pizza place the whole time. The places I’ve tried have ranged from awful, to decent, to pretty good, to great but pricey and/or not open all the time. I took a chance and tried Alex’s tonight - so glad I did! I just got the original, and it’s great thin crust, delicious flavorful sauce, and good cheese. Not too greasy. Really excellent pizza! I think this will be my new go to place!
