Buzz Cafe Philly

This is my new favorite place. The only thing better than my inferno burrito which was amazing and yeah had decent 🔥 was the life-size working battle droid we all know as R2-D2 (Created by the owner!) In addition the entire place (2 floors) is covered wall-to-wall ceiling -to-floor with retro, sci-fi style artwork that of which was also 90% created by the owner himself! It gets better, on the second floor is a life-size or close to, Han Solo encapsulated in Carbonite. -One more notable mention, The staff may be the most welcoming staff I’ve personally experienced since living here the last four years. -Check it out!

LOVE Buzz Cafe! One of my favorites in Philly. Always a good vibe, good people, good art, and good coffee. Lots of really cool vintage action figures and collectibles all throughout the space, you'll definitely notice something new every time. They have some really great breakfast options too, Jack's Legendary is my go to when I'm really hungry. The Huevos Rancheros Wrap is also really good! A really friendly, warm place, definitely a winner.

I frequent this place. Love the character and atmosphere. Interesting art that’s always changing. Easy to chat with the people behind the counter, unless it first thing in the morning, bc then aren’t we all just trying to wake up? Always friendly though. Love the bfast food here, the house-made aioli is the best!

Idk the name of the sandwich, but the joint is so quaint & intimate that it’s on deck every time I’ve returned! (Kensington Inferno!?!?) It’s both God awful HOT & DELICIOUS every time, but not for the feint of heart. Chef/Owner/Artist/Father Laragione is a fabulous host, so don’t ruin this joint for me. Enjoy the food, the atmosphere, & if you’re feeling froggy purchase an antique toy/collectible or one of HIS original paintings that cover every inch this incredible gem of a cafe.
