Standard New York style pizza. The slices are large. When you want a traditional old school pizza joint this is the place.

Great slices, old school new york thin crust, cool owner who runs the joint and likes to talk if you want to but just serves you up if you dont. Ate the whole slice at the counter talking with him. Great joint the likes of which you are hard to find these days. Open late and bomb

Pete is the man and his pizza is 100% legit. We stayed at Hotel Monaco for a couple shows at the Filmore and he was open late. Not only was the pizza deliciously simple and full of flavor and texture, but Pete was like an old neighbor that you’ve known for years.
Pete’s Pizza Joint is fully recommend. Thanks Pete, I wish we had you in Pittsburgh!

New York style pizza in Philadelphia. Thin crispy crust, just the right amount of toppings. Nothing fancy just very good 18" pizza. Pete is a great guy to talk to so go visit, eat some pizza and enjoy the stories. The only complaint I have is it they don't deliver unless you want to use Uber delivery which is incredibly expensive and way overpriced.
