Came here for dinner over President day weekend! Space is modern and very warm. Service was very warm and friendly. Crispy chicken salad bowl and shaken beef bowls were HUGE! Both bowls were fresh and tasty. Please order a side of sweet potatoes waffle fries!!! Best sweet potatoes fries I've had. Nice selection of beers. Beautiful outdoor space. Will definitely come back to visit.

Loved the scene here. Went to lunch and requested outside to enjoy the unseasonal 60 degree November weather. Stone with glass enclosed fire pit was warm and welcoming on the patio Had the smokehouse porter with a turkey burger, avocado and provolone. Responsive and friendly wait staff. Lunch at noon required no reservation or wait time.

We held a brunch the day after our wedding at Bernie's for 65 people and it was amazing. Everyone was raving about the brunch buffet options...everything from seafood to mac n cheese to french toast. The bottomless mimosas were a great touch as well. Everything is so reasonably priced and the wait staff is amazing. They were extremely friendly and accommodating from the second that we walked in. Highly recommend!

Cool little spot, atmosphere is nice and open with a bright vibe... they were playing old school Motown hits. Mimosas could've been a bit stronger. Food is pretty good, I got full quickly after trying most things. The best were the omelets, shrimp, and mac 'n cheese but they have a decent variety despite the apparent size of the place.

Where do I begin?!? Bernie's is always amazing but trying this location was a special treat! The brunch buffet with unlimited mimosas was worth every bit of my $30 and then some. The staff was super nice and facility amazingly gorgeous and clean. Cooked to order stations plentiful and plenty of food items for pescatarian and vegetarians alike. Mimosas were tasty and everything served nicely. Perfect location for a bar day, girls night, birthday or whatever. Ample seating and outside area was beautiful. It was also refreshing to see so many young people working there with amazing professionalism and people of color employed. Didn't appear to be handicap accessible to get to restrooms fyi.

Sometimes you get really lucky and find a place by mistake. I got so damn lucky! I had fried goat cheese on a bed of spring greens, onion, in an aioli that was Heaven. I don't order fried food out, I'm very allergic to shellfish...this is one of those rare places where I won't get sick because they don't fry everything in the same oil. Also had the jerk pork sandwhich...I have friends from Jamaica that really need to come here, they will go bananas. So I know not everyone heads to University City for an afternoon or night out......but if you find yourself in the area you really need to stop in. Wondering if they serve dessert......hhhhmmmmm

Quaint place. Very nice menu. There's something for everyone to enjoy. We had the cheesesteak egg rolls as a starter. Probably the best I've had compared to other restaurants. The meat was more like steak than chopped cheesesteak meat. I could eat them every day. The French onion soup was super cheesy and yummy. Not over salted like some places. The Karl's burger was amazing. I got the carmelized onions with blue cheese with lettuce and tomato cooked medium. The bun was perfect for this burger. You must try it. The beef was like choped steak. My friend enjoyed the Turkey burger and was equally impressed with the fresh turkey cooked to perfection. The fries were fresh cut potatoes fried to perfection. The crab cakes were not so good and were sent back but the server was amazing and accommodating. Overall a Great place to dine.
